From light parquet to dark wood, natural oak is suitable for any style of furniture. So, for Casa Angiolina the warm honey color of Oak Neutro pre-finished natural wood flooring, defines the environments creating contrast and harmony, enhancing the elegant decorations for a sober and contemporary result.
Formerly an office space and now a refined apartment on the fifth floor of a historic building located in the heart of the city of Naples, this renovation project, curated by the FADD Architects team, was designed for a young couple with a child.

The renovation project of Casa Angiolina started from a careful selection of wooden floors, to create a perfect chic style. The choice of a chevron parquet, represented here the ideal solution to create an elegant and refined environment, recalling to the mind intimate and familiar spaces.
Born in the period of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the hungarian pattern floor (or chevron parquet) decorated the houses of the french and austrian nobles of past eras and, still today, combines tradition and trend. An elegant and valuable parquet, suitable for any type of furniture, especially in large and elegant environments.

Hungarian chevron parquet floor: a interior design trend
When we talk about wooden floors, in addition to the wood species (whether it is teak, walnut, doussie or pre-finished oak) we are called to choose the type of installation.
Unlike the herringbone pattern floor, where the wooden boards are perfectly rectangular, the hungarian chevron parquet is characterized by the regular oblique cut and requires extreme precision and quality manual processing to achieve an unparalleled scenic effect. Similar to the french one, the laying of the hungarian chevron parquet is created by strips with an angle of 60° where, at the junction point, a directional visual effect is created at right angles.

Oak Essential Berti Parquet
Fadd studio selected for this project an Essential Berti Oak. A pre-finished, brushed and matt parquet floor. The varnishing used, for all Berti products, is a water-based, low environmental impact, non-toxic surface protective finish. Formulated with carefully selected raw materials and tested against the various stresses.
The result is a soft parquet to the touch, an aesthetic effect and a safe product guaranteed over time.
